Growing up Milenia was never Ms Popular nor was she ever voted most beautiful or Ms popularity. She had average length hair, average height, regular brown skin, she was your average plain jane girl next door. But one thing you couldnt deny was her talent. Although no one knew she had a voice that her mom and little sister would compare to beyonce mixed with alicia keys. On the outside looking in people would pretty much make her feel invisible. But what people also didnt know was her struggle......
Melenia's mom Tasha had her at the age of 13. She was always considered "fast" but all she knew was self survival being that she grew up in all types of foster home and the only way to survival to Tasha was letting men take care of her. For a 13 year old Tasha was built as if she was in her early 20's. She learned at a young age that the key to a mans heart was to give wat was between her legs. With a little bit of luck mixed with some lipstick and high heels Tasha scored by pullin her a baller. Tazz saw a naiive little girl who wanted attention and decided to act on it but he soon realized that she wasnt just some naiive little girl he saw a hustler who just wanted to survive in the hood and he took Tasha under his wing. Now her getting pregnant was never apart of the plan and he quickly fled the scene leave Tasha pregnant and alone. Tasha took what Tazz taught her and applied it to her hustle by boosting clothes. Tazz turned Tasha into a proffesional theif and she used her skill to support her and her unborn child until she found her next man. A couple years later when Melenia was 9 years old Tasha was pregnant once again with Melenia's little sister Misha. This baby father was a Doctor... a married Doctor with a family of his own. He paid Tasha off giving her 10,000 and made her sign a contract saying she would never come to his home or take him to court for child support. Tasha loved her daughters but was very money hungry always looking for the next dollar leaving 17 year old Melenia to take care of 8 year old Misha.
"Misha eat the rest of that chicken or you aint gettin no cake" said Melenia. As Misha nibbled on the baked chicken Melenia prepared the phone began to ring. "Hello?" answered Melenia. "Wadap hoe why you aint come to school today?" asked Melenia's highschool friend Tara. Melenia didnt have many friends. Her life really revolved around Misha making sure Misha had lunch to take to school and decent sneakers to wear and her homework was done amongst other things. They pretty much only seen Tasha 2wice a week. 3 times the most. Tasha was too busy living with her new man. Tasha knew that if Rob found out she had 2 daughters he would cut her off so she let Melenia and Misha live in one house while she lived in another wit her boyfriend at the end of every week she would give Melenia 100 dollars for groceries. "I had to stay home and wash Misha clothes so she can have something clean for tommorow but ill be there tommorow" said Melenia "You lyin you aint never in school and where yo mama b at?" asked Tara. "Working like always but yea, i gotta go Mimi just called me see ya tommorow gotta go!" Melenia didnt want Tara big mouth tellin the whole school that her mom was a triflin paper chaser who chose money over her kids everytime.
